How to cut larger than mat templates with Cricut Design Space May 14, 2021 – Posted in: Craft Tips
So you have a large craft project to work on and the elements are larger than your mat, well here’s my tip on how to create templates, stencils or projects that are over 11.5 inches (cricut mat width size).
It’s basically splitting up your object / objects into sizes that will fit into the cricut mat size. Now circut has a 12 x 24 inches mat so you can work with that, here I worked with a large number 3 and split up into 6 separate elements. So basically you’d have to make 6 cuts/load your mat 6 times to cut a 2 x 2 feet number 3.
Hope it helps. .
